On the morning of August 2nd, the delegation of Tokai Japan-China Trade Center visited Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone (the Zone) under the leadership of Ozawa, the team leader. They were accompanied by Zhang Yanming, member of Standing Committee of CPC Zhengzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of Work Committee, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, CPC, in the visit.

Ozawa gasped with admiration at the results of the rapid development of the Zone in recent years. He pointed out that the Zone has obvious location advantages, rapid development momentum and a high degree of openness and hoped that both sides can further strengthen communication and cooperation in terms of food, logistics, bio-medicine and other fields. He then introduced members and business operations of the Tokai Japan-China Trade Center in detail.

Zhang Yanming welcomed the arrival of the delegation of the Tokai Japan-China Trade Center. He pointed out that there is a long history for cooperation between Henan and Japanese enterprises. He also hoped that the Tokai Japan-China Trade Center and the Management Committee of the Zone, relying on the unique advantage of Zhengzhou and Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone as the modern integrated transport hub and the international air logistics center respectively, grab the strategic opportunity of construction of "the Belt and Road" and further expand the opening to the outside world to promote cooperation between Henan and enterprises in the central part of Japan, setting off a new round of Sino-Japanese business cooperation climax.

They also had an in-depth discussion about drafting a framework agreement for strategic cooperation, regularly organizing the two sides to visit each other to find cooperation opportunities and other issues.
