On the morning of Sep. 28, the unveiling ceremony of the bronze statue of Yellow Emperor was held in Xuanyuan Pavilion of Zhengzhou Expo Garden. Zhang Yanming, member of Standing Committee of CPC Zhengzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of Work Committee, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, CPC, Sun Yingmin, deputy-inspector of Cultural Relics Bureau of Henan Province and Li Hong, deputy-president of Henan Museum attended the ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Zhang Chunyang, Full-time Deputy Secretary of Work Committee, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, CPC.

At the unveiling ceremony, Zhang Yanming and Li Hong unveiled the bronze statue of Yellow Emperor, and led all the participants to paid a formal visit to Yellow Emperor.

Zhang Yanming pointed out that, as the primal humanist ancestor of Chinese nation, Yellow Emperor has played a crucial role in the spread and development of Chinese civilization. Zhengzhou, as the birthplace of Yellow Emperor, will hold the 11th China (Zhengzhou) International Garden Expo with the theme of "leading green development and inheriting Chinese civilization", which takes root in the profound culture of Yellow Emperor and fully demonstrates the characteristics of the Central Plains as the birthplace of the Chinese civilization. The Garden Expo takes concrete actions to implement the cultural concept of "promoting outstanding Chinese traditional culture" and the development concept of "innovation, coordination, greenness, openness and sharing" proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping. In the future development, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone will continue to take green development as the guide, continuously explore the new connotation of "Yellow Emperor Culture" and push economic and social development to a new level.

After the ceremony, the leaders attending the ceremony also attended the Xuanyuan Culture Theme Exhibition in Xuanyuan Pavilion.
