On June 20, the Opening Ceremony of the Jinan-Zhengzhou High-speed Railway Puyang-Zhengzhou Section and the Zhengzhou Hangkonggang Railway Station and the Launching Ceremony for the Construction of the New Zhengzhou South Railway Station and Pingdingshan-Luohe-Zhoukou High-speed Railway and the Extension of the Zhengzhou-Kaifeng Intercity Railway were held. Lou Yangsheng, Secretary of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, announced that the first passenger trains from Puyang to Zhengzhou and Zhengzhou to Puyang along the Jinan-Zhengzhou High-speed Railway officially departed.
