Zhengzhou's international cargo network keeps expanding

  At 18:19 on February 16, a cargo plane operated by the British all-cargo airline One Airtook off from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (hereinafter referred to as Zhengzhou airport) in Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, heading to Madrid. This marks the start of several new international cargo routes to be launched from Zhengzhou airport in February.

  "The Zhengzhou-Karaganda-Oslo routeof Capital Airlines is set tolaunchsoon. In February, Zhengzhou's air cargo hubwill introduce threenewdestinations: Madrid (Spain), Nottingham (UK), and Oslo (Norway), while increasing flights to Dhaka and Liège," said Huang Lin, Director of Zhengzhou Airport Customs. The launch of new routes and the expansion of existing ones are expected to boostHenan's cross-border e-commerce "air freight" business.According to recent data, in January, Zhengzhou Airport Customs experienced a remarkable year-on-year increase in cross-border e-commerce exports, with the number of orders, weight, and value rising by 186.41%, 273.4%, and 175.34%, respectively.

  With more cargo from other regions, the cross-border e-commerce "air freight" business is thriving. In recent years, goods from the Yangtze River Delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regions have grown rapidlyatZhengzhou's air cargo port, steadily risingin share.
