At 16:52 on October 24, a cargo plane carrying 22.4 tons of Thai durians and 3.7 tons of Thai pomelos landed smoothly at the Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport. This marks the official resumption of the Zhengzhou-Bangkok cargo route, bringing the "fresh flavors" of Southeast Asia to the Central Plains.

It is understood that the route is scheduled to operate three flights per week, with each flight capable of steadily importing approximately 25 tons of Thai fruits.Subsequently, other characteristic tropical fruits such as coconuts and wax apples will be successively introduced into Henan.

The resumption of this route, coupled with the upgrading of customs clearance services, enriches the "fruit plates" for the Central Plains people, broadens the opening-up channel connecting the Central Plains region with the Southeast Asian fresh produce market, and injects new vitality into building an open pattern that links domestic and international markets. Up to now, the varieties of fruits, chilled aquatic products and edible aquatic animals imported through Zhengzhou Air Port (ZAP) have increased to more than 30, effectively promoting the expansion and quality improvement of fresh produce import trade.(Chinese Source: Henan Daily Reporter: Yang Ling and Zhao Tongzeng Correspondent: Liu Qing and Ma Lingxiao Translator: Hong Jianyuan)
