On June 7, summer breezes drifted across exam sites in the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone. As students walked toward the examination rooms, every step seemed bathed in the light of an entire summer.
At 7:30 a.m., students began arriving one after another. Some walked briskly to the exam site alone, with the last classical Chinese text still playing on repeat in their headphones. Others carried practice test booklets, going over difficult points one final time. They lined up in an orderly manner outside the exam site, waiting to enter. There were no grand declarations, only focus and determination in their eyes.

Most parents stayed after seeing their children off. Some stood on tiptoe, looking toward the examination rooms. Though they could see nothing, they kept gazing for a long time. Some raised their phones to record the moment their children walked into the exam site, capturing their receding figures as they disappeared from view, their fingers lingering on the screen. Others held bouquets of flowers, waiting for the moment their children would walk out of the exam site.

Beyond the exam sites, another kind of care is equally moving.
Police officers from the traffic police detachment wore reflective vests and stood at the intersection in front of the exam site, directing traffic with crisp, decisive hand signals. When they encountered students in a hurry, they promptly mounted their police motorcycles and escorted them steadily forward.

Power supply personnel repeatedly checked voltage readings using testing instruments, while emergency generator vehicles stood silently on standby, ready to respond at any moment.

Fire brigade patrol vehicles were parked not far from the side of the exam site, ensuring that any sudden incidents could be dealt with immediately.

Volunteers in red vests stood under the shade tents, with bottled water and heat-relief supplies neatly arranged.

The medical support team stationed ambulances at one side of the exam site, with medicine boxes fully stocked with heat-relief drugs and emergency supplies.

There was no noise; everyone tacitly moved quietly and carefully, putting all support in place in advance—without disturbance, the deepest form of support.
